    3. Let me assure anyone on this list I have not sent anything to the list since 23rd approx of June. All my mail is checked with Norton before sending. I do not send attachments to any list. If you get any message saying it is from me with an attachment via the list delete it. I had a similar report from Norfolk list - from someone who was not even on the Norfolk list! 3. Hi, Judy - I was wondering if you had any more information on James Elliot (I assume he's in there because you have some interest in him). My GGG Grandfather was a James Elliot about whom I have little information. He married Janet Murdy or Murdie in Jedburgh on 14 Aug 1842 and they produced a son called Thomas in 1847 and that's all I have. I was wondering oif maybe they were the same person. Lanarkshire census indexes, MI's abound and some resources for Renfrewshire, Caitness and Inverness. I know they are not Borders but we all move in and out of the Counties round here. Contact me off list if you need some lookups for these areas. You may live near resources that are not Borders but may help others. Feel free to share!! Penny Border List Admin
