    3. Using www.findagrave.com and a national cemeteries listing at www.cwc.lsu.edu/cwc/projects/dbases I was fortunate to document the burial sites of two 9th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment BORDENs who were my g-g-grandfather's brothers: NATHANIEL BORDEN (1837 TN-8 January 1864), who left Rhoda Moren, a widow was with Company D, 9th KY Infantry; died during siege of Chattanooga of chronic diarrhea. Nathaniel Borden is listed among those buried in Chattanooga National Cemetery, 12 Bailey Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, section D grave #12536. JOHN Y. BORDEN (1844 TN-2 JANUARY 1862), buried at Mill Springs National Cemetery, Nancy, Pulaski County, KY. The date of death listed is 1 January 1862 vice 2 Janauary 1862. ( www.findagrave.com) See also www.cwc.lsu.edu/cwc/projects/dbases/ncmillsp.htm which lists "BURDEN, JOHN Y. 1 JAN 1862 PVT 9 KY INF Listed as 'Among the Unknown'". Their brother, CLAIBORN BORDEN (1833 TN-2 January 1863), was shot at Stones River and is unlisted and presumably buried in an unmarked grave. Anyone working on this branch of the Bordens is welcome to e-mail me (off-list) to exchange information.
