Henry BOURDON (also spelled Bourden and Borden) (b.ca 1800) was a resident of Dinwiddie Co., VA in 1850, when he is found ennumerated in the 1850 Federal Census, along with his wife, Arianna. They had the following children: Adrian (b.ca 1825); John C., b.ca 1827); Jane (b.ca 1830) m. Dr. Charles Zehmer; Joseph (b.ca 1833); and Thomas (b.ca 1843). Terrance Aubrey Borden; b. Hantsport, Hants County, Nova Scotia, June 30, 1874; d. Colorado, May 14, 1925; s/o Joseph Edward & Sophia Elizabeth (Johnson) Borden. Information from a relative in California states that Terrance was riding across country on a bike, and died in a mining accident in Colorado. Looking for confirmation of this fact. Hugh Borden.

We found these graves in the Concord Cemetery in the Havana area of Hale County, Alabama. The cemetery is located on Alabama Highway 60. Aubrey "Clinton" (or Clinton Aubrey) Borden; s/o Samuel Smith & Laura S. (Crane) Borden; b. Kings County, Nova Scotia, abt. 1866; d. when/where. Listed in the 1871 Nova Scotia census as Aubrey Clinton age 5 Listed in the 1881 Nova Scotia census as Clinton, age 13. Not listed in the 1891 or 1901 census for Nova Scotia. I believe he emmigrated to the US in the 1880's, probably Massachusetts or Maine. Probably returning to Nova Scotia before 1915, when his daughter Laura died. He later lived, along with his son W. "Freeman" Borden, in the old "Sam Borden" place in Sheffield Mills, Kings County, Nova Scotia. Somewhere, he married a "Bertha" (unknown), (Nova Scotia or US?). Was she with him when he returned to Nova Scotia? They had two children, (that I know of), 1. W "Freeman", b. United States, abt 1905, d. Nova Scotia, 1975, unmarried; 2.Sarah Elizabeth, b. where?, March 7, 1907, d. where?, October 29, 1915. Both children buried in the Hillaton cemetery, Kings County, Nova Scotia. I do not know where Aubrey Clinton, or his wife "Bertha" died or where they are buried. Any help with this mystery would certainly be appreciated. If anyone should have access to US census 1890 through 1920, possibly do lookups? Hugh Borden

My Borden question is about Abraham Borden, born c. 1816; married Anna Maria Barbel Leonard in Augusta County, VA, in April 1841; they raised their children in Montgomery County, VA, and moved to Woodford County, IL, by 1876. Ohio census in 1850, Shiawassee County, Michigan 1860 census, and the 1870 Mercer County, Missouri census. Who were John's parents, siblings? Where did John and Harriet die?
