Would you happen to have a Squire, or Edward Squire, Boone in your John's family who would have been born c 1730 or before? I've been looking for this man who was the father of Mary/Polly Boone, b.c1750, for years. It is family tradition that this Edward Squire married an Indian woman, and that he was related to THE Daniel Boone. Mary/Polly married John Couch and I descend from two of their daughters.
