Hi - I was wondering if someone on the list could help me confirm a family story that has been passed down to my generation. The story is that my ggg grandfather Robert Saunder Bennett (1812-1862) named his daughter Mary Elizabeth Bennett after a relative also named Mary Elizabeth (Bennett?) who married into Daniel Boone's family. Robert Bennett was born in Pennsylvania (his 1843 marriage certificate lists him as living in the Northern Liberties outside Philadelphia).
