Congratulations to all the Society members who worked on and worked for the renaming of the Daniel Boone-Cumberland Gap Wilderness Trail. Hooray! What a great group this is! This issue of the Compass is filled with great info, and I particularly want to congratulate Denny Custer on a Job Well Done in his pursuit of his Elizabeth Boone (Powers), and her mother, the unknown wife of Israel Boone.
