Food for thought - If Israel Boone died in Jun 1756, is it possible that John Boone who was born about 1755 be his son. The dates of Israel's children given by Doug Scott provide room for John to be a 5th child: Jesse b abt 1748 Jonathan b 21 Nov 1750 Elizabeth b 28 Nov 1752/1753 (I suspect 1752 is more likely due to birth of next child) Sarah 'Sallie' b abt 1754 As you can see if Sarah was anytime during 1754 and John was born at least 9 months after her birth in 1755, there is still a few months before Israel's death in 1756.
