I have found further info on the WPA on GL Boone in Oregon and Delia Boone May. They were second cousins and Delia lived NEXT to George Luther Boone in Benton County, Oregon in the 1870 census. Possibly the person that gave the info to the interviewer on the Benton County WPA project got the families mixed up.
