Hi All, There is an old Baptist Church (congregation) in Dry Ridge, Grant Co., KY. Outside, there is a plaque which says: "The Old Church on the Dry Ridge Organized 1791 as Baptist Church by Elders Lewis Corban and John Conner. Indians threatened early services. Squire Boone preached here, 1798. Reorganized in 1826 as Williamstown Particular Baptist Church by Wm. Conrad. Imprisoned as Confederate sympathizer, 1864; pastor 54 yrs. Present building erected, 1892. Affiliated with Presbyterian Church in 1975." I have a picture of this plaque. Joyce
