Hi cousins, Have any of you folks ever seen the book entitled The Court-martial of Daniel Boone by Allen Eckert? I found a copy at a little bookstore in Glasgow, KY and bought it for $5.00. It is very interesting. It is about the time that Daniel was accused of treason because of the attack on Ft. Boonesborough. He evidently defended himself and was acquitted. There are copies of the book on ABE.com American Book Exchange. The prices were from $100 to $277 so I felt like I got a bargain. Anyway it is a good book and well worth reading. I felt a new surge of pride at being descended from Edward Boone, Daniel's brother who was killed by the Indians when he was only 40 years old. Bill Boone
