I have no direct evidence of any relationship between the two families, however, Daniel B. Bryan, nephew of Daniel Boone, stated to L.C. Draper that Gen. Daniel Morgan was his mother's cousin. Nathan Boone, son of Daniel, also stated the same to L.C. Draper. These statements, and the fact that Daniel Morgan was apparently very close-mouthed about his antecedents, should be considered when trying to unravel the mystery. Personally, I tend to think (although I have no documentation), that these folks knew who they were related to. Kathryn
