I knew I had this info on Roger Turner Sr. in my files, but had it under another file name. 1751 19 Aug 1751 - Rodger Turner, Sr., a plat drawn for 640 acres in Anson County, NC on the north bank of the Yadkin River "a little below the mouth of Turners Creek." Granted to Rodger Turner by Lord Granville. Grant issued 26 Jan 1761. Chain bearers Rodger Turner, Jr., Morgan Bryant and Charles Robinson. Surveyed by Charles Robinson.
