    2. Edgar A Boone
    3. Hello Cousins and fellow list members, To answer some specific questions re: my knowledge of MD Boones. to Nancy Lexo - I do not have knowledge of a Stephen Boone in my direct line. On my research CD called "Colonial Families of Maryland, 1600s - 1900s" from Family Tree Maker there are 2 references to a Stephen Boone, the son of Capt. Humphrey Boone and Anne Slade Boone (Stephen had a sister named Rebecca who married a John Beale Howard - the reference to Stephen is that Rebecca and sisters sued Stephen over father's estate. Rebecca married John Howard about 1770. Capt. Humphrey Boone is a descendant of my ancestor Humphrey but not my ancestor. See my other post re: Humphrey Boone from todays date. That is all I know of this Stephen. ) to Anne Locke - I don't know if any of my Johns were in P.G. Co., MD. My references to them are all from Anne Arundel Co. My CD listed above mentions some other John Boones but they are in QueenAnne and Talbot counties on the Eastern Shore or St.Mary's Co. to Arthur Hopkins - sorry, none of these names are in my info to Shirley Middleton Moller - sorry, no Stansburys in my line. Ther are a few Stanburys on my "Colonial Families of Maryland, 1600s - 1900s" but not in association with my Boone line to Gail Meyer Gilgore - no Eleanor Boone that I can find in my line or on above CD I will try to get more of my data on my line in some semblence of order and repost it (last done Jan. at last roll call, direct line only, which I will repost now). It is hard to post it all in this email format. Unfortunately my geneology software doesn't do a good job of exporting info into a text file, so I basically have to type it all. I have info on Boone names other than those in my direct ancestry, and info on a lot of other colonial-era ancestors who married into this line. If anyone is interested I could probably email data in attachments directly to you. If interested in this data on this Boone line, respond directly to me at: [email protected] I am willing to do name lookups on my MD geneology CD for anyone on the list (but no promise to be prompt!!) There seem to be several different Boone lines in Colonial MD. These are the lines that I have run across: Descendents from Humphrey Boone, those from a John Boon in Talbot Co on the Eastern Shore of MD who received his land patent in 1669, a John Boone who settled in Calvert Co and died there in 1689, William Boone in the Boonesboro area near Fredrick, and a Bohn (Angicized later to Boon or Boone - I don't know much about them) Ed Boone
