Sarah was the daughter of Samuel and Sarah Boone,niece of Daniel Boone,granddaugher of Squire and Sarah Boone. She was a heroine of Bryan Station during the Revolutionary War when she and other women went for water while the fort was under attack. She is buried at Decatur, Ohio in a small country cemetary with her second husband David Campbell. Her parents are buried at a small state park Boone Station State Park near Fort Boonesborough,Ky. Her grandparents, Samuel and Daniel's parents, are buried in Mocksville, North Carolina in the old Joppa Quaker cemetary.
