Dear List, This is an obituary I got from the Winchester (VA) Star Web site. Frances Boone was a member of the Boone families I'm now researching. Some of them lived in Hardy and Hampshire counties, West Virginia, while others moved on to Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Art Hopkins ----------------------------------- The Winchester Star April 5, 2000 Jesse J. Lupton Jesse Joseph Lupton, 81, of P.O. Box 23, Yellow Spring, W.Va., died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Lupton was born Oct. 2, 1918, in Capon Bridge, W.Va., the son of James T. and Frances BOONE Lupton. He was a truck driver for Time-DC Trucking Co. He was a member of Hebron Lutheran Church in Yellow Spring and attended Willow Chapel United Methodist Church, Capon Springs, W.Va. He was a member of Moorefield Masonic Lodge No. 29, Upper Potomac Shrine Club, Baker Mountain Hunt Club, Capon Springs Hunt Club, Teamsters Local 29 Retirees Association, and was a life member of Cacapon Rod & Gun Club. He married Lois Heare on April 11, 1941, in Cumberland, Md. Surviving with his wife, are four sons, J. Keith Lupton of Grasonville, Md., and Barry L. Lupton, Randy L. Lupton, and Joseph B. Lupton, all of Yellow Spring; two daughters, Sue C. Lupton of Yellow Springs and Judy A. Shade of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; a sister, Fern Jennings of Martinsburg, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hebron Lutheran Church, Yellow Spring, with the Rev. Gregory R. Kenney and the Rev. Rob Lovett officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Lupton, Barry Lupton, Randy Lupton, Joseph Lupton, Jamie Lupton, and Brent Lupton. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Giffin Funeral Home, Capon Bridge, W.Va. Memorials may be made to Capon Springs Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
