Greetings to the Boone Cousins and Friends, In the Sturgeon family traditions we learn that Thomas Sturgeon, Jr. or II came with Daniel on one of his early trips into Kentucky. Does anyone have any list of those who came with Daniel and is Thomas Sturgeon on the list (s)? The Sturgeons were in Pa. during the Rev. War. and then settled in Eastern Jefferson County, Ky. near the Shelby County Line. Any help in this concern would be greatly appreciated. To the author of the information on Michael Stoner--I appreciated it very much. Several years ago, before I knew of my Boone Ancestry, I knew an old gentleman from Bedford, Indiana area who said he was a descendant of Michael Stoner and that he was with Daniel Boone. Thank you for the article. I am a member of The Boone Society and am excited about their trip to Oregon in the summer of 2002 for their meeting.
