Happy 4th of July to all. If any family can be proud of their heritage it is the families of the many BOONE lines. The July 2001 issued of "Compass" published by Rochell COCHRAN a direct of desc of Edward BOONE has a complete rundown on our grandfather Edward BOONE and his wife Martha BRYAN. I will not even attempt to copy her work or add to it. I did visit the grave site of grandfather Edward last July and it was a profound moment standing there at the site where he was slain and buried. Thanks to Dell BOONE ARIOLA, her husband Ken and grandson Bryan for finding the grave. Charity BOONE>Edward>Squire>George is my direct line. She married Francis ELLEDGE and I descend from this line.
