I am researching Captain William Emory. Will was said to be a Cherokee half-breed who ran "renegade" with the Shawnee. I have conflicting reports concerning the relationship between Daniel Boone and William Emory. Can anyone offer information? I understand that Will was mentioned in Daniel's memoirs.
