Rachel BOONE BRICE was my GGGGG-grandmother and there is absolutely no proof that she was the daughter of James Boone and Mary Foulke. I have a copy of a will abstract for James BOONE and his daughter Rachel was married to a WILCOXSON at the same time that my Rachel BOONE BRICE was married to Samuel BRICE and raising a family so they definitely can't be the same woman. There are alot of erroneous errors out there on who Rachel's parents were without a stick of documentation on her parentage. I would recommend that any of you who have her in your files remove her from the James Boone family until it can be documented. Too many people begin believing something if they see it often enough but I really am upset that no one is trying to find proof. I think Rachel BOONE BRICE was related to the same BOONE family lines but I doubt it was James Boone who was her father. Please see my family files. We have an estimated age for her as between 1743 - 1750. There were many, many Rachel BOONE's that probably were born in 1750 but they can't all be the same woman. I have the BRICE lines researched very well and nothing is proven on the BOONE family that Rachel came from.There were several entries at the LDS showing Samuel Brice's wife Rachel BOONE as being the daughter of James Boone, however those entries are not solid proof at all. Also many seem to be posting her on their Rootsweb World Connect files as the daughter of James BOONE & Mary FOULKE. Please help the other BRICE researchers & descendants of Samuel & Rachel to finally once and for all get this misinformation deleted and try and help document this woman's ancestry. Thanks!
