Smith , Warren co KY was born in Phillips co AR 24 July 1824 and is a son of William and Keziah Boone Smith, the former of whom , a native of Virginia , lived there most of his life but died in AR in 1841. His father, Phillip Smith removed to Arkansas and died there at an advanced age. Subjects maternal grandfather John Boone was a native of North Carolina , and immigrated to this state in an early day, afterward removed to Tennessee where he died.
