Been thinking that I may not have mentioned that the new book by Neal O. Hammon entitled DANIEL BOONE AND THE DEFEAT AT BLUE LICKS is now for sale. The Boone Society website has the details for ordering. Mr. Hammon was one of the Ky. Authors that took part in the big Ky. Book Fair, several weeks ago. If I remember, correctly, the Battle of Blue Licks is re enacted annually. www.boonesociety.org Plans have been finalized for The Boone Society's Reunion in Eastern Pennsylvania. The site has the details. The registration fee, which includes some meals, tours, etc. is not listed, but you can e-mail the Chairman for the details. There are many Boone sites in the area, that will be visited. Of special interest to many will be the visit to The Morgan Log House.
