Does anyone have any information on the following Boon/es that appear in the 1860 Grayson County, Texas census: * H. (Henry) Boon, born N.C. ca. 1816 - Married. ~ T. _____, born Mo. ca. 1819. Children are: Mary, born MO ca. 1839; E., born MO. ca. 1842; John, born MO. ca. 1843; M., born MO. 1846; Daniel, born MO. ca. 1848. ** B. J. Boon, born Tenn., ca. 1824 - Married ~ S. A. ______, born Ky., ca. 1829. Children are: R.P., born Ky. ca. 1848, A.P., born Ky. ca. 1849. *** John D. BOONE, first showing up on the 1860 Grayson County, Texas census. In 1863, John Boone severed in the Texas Calvary in County C, 15 Battalion, Texas State Troops, as a third Lieutenant. I believe, but I cannot prove that Catherine Scott, died about 1866, in Grayson County, Texas. John D. Boone died about 1888 in Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri, (My line.) Below are the children of John D. Boone and Catherine (Scott) Boone: 1.) Mary Elizabeth Boone, born 1846 Arkansas and Married William Brackney, they had at least one daughter by the name of Fanny, born May 1870 Arkansas. 2.) Sarah "Sallie" W. or T. Boone {my line}, born July 20, 1849 Arkansas died Sept. 17, 1905 Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri. Married John D. Smith. They had six children. 3) Isadore "Dora or Dodie" Josephine Boone, born July 1851 Arkansas. Married December 07, 1871, Harvey Russell Goodman in Boone township, Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri. Harvey R. Goodman, born December, 1851 Missouri and died Jackson Township, Polk County, Missouri. They had at least six children. 4.) William “Bill” John Boone, born 1861 Grayson County, Texas. Married Alice___?____. They had at least seven children. 5.) Nancy Boone, born 1864 Grayson County, Texas. And Married Benjamin Garrett in September 05, 1875, at Robinson Township, Greene County, Missouri. 6.) Robert Scott Boone, born July 1866 Grayson County, Texas. Married (1.) Cora A. Knowles, (2.) Minnie Mae Shuler, born May 1881 Indiana. They had at least six children. Later after the war, he took his family to Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri. Question, did John hear about Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri form Nathan or another family member. I am looking for help in any area. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. I am of course willing to share all information I may have on the Boone line. If you are able to shed light on any part of the Boones, are its allied families please do not hesitate. If you see any mistake with my findings please get back with me. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a few Photos of John D.
