Dear Boone Cousins, I understand that the block of rooms for The Boone Society Reunion in Reading, Pa. will be lifted on Sun. May 21, so if you are going to Pa. for the reunion you need to make reservations to insure getting the rate. Details about the reunion are on The Boone Society Website www.boonesociety.org Besides visiting all of the Boone sites, another highlight for me will be to have the opportunity to visit The Morgan Log House. www.morganloghouse.org I hope many of your who have a connection to the Boones who settled in Eastern Pa. will be able to attend. The reunions have all been great/memorable. As you know, I did not know about The Boone Society until after the first reunion. I have been fortunate to attend all since then. They have all been treasured experiences. The Boones have truly made an imprint on this nation from Coast to Coast. When the Reunion was in Oregon, we visited many sites where the Boones made an impact on that part of our country and the spot where they first reached the coast. Hope to see many of you in our ancestral state/commonwealth of Pennsylvania! Cousin Ivan D. Lancaster of Trafalgar 6th Great Grandson of Edward "Ned" Boone and Martha Bryan Boone (the name Martha started with the Strodes and come on down to my mother's generation. Either every or every other generation.)
