    3. Dear Brd While reading Reflections In The Wind; Reliving A Memorable Era In Northern Madison County by Gypsie Lee Cosby Jones (held by KY Hist. Soc. in Frankford), I noticed that George, Squire, Nancy, and John Boone are mentioned as associates of the Tates Creek Baptisth Church (found 1786) in Madison Co., KY. George and Squire are surely the brothers of Daniel, but who are Nancy and John Boone? The minutes of the church give the following: June 1, 1798 - George Boone restored to fellowship July 1, 1799 - committee clerk Squire Boone 1802 (before April) - Nancy Boone joined by letter Feb 1805 - Nancy Boone granted a letter of dismission 1816 - John Boone joined by experience I would appreciate your thoughts. Chet PS: Let me know if you would like the few details about George and Squire Boone that I did not describe above.

    3. Anyone else have any Boone's they think Chester could be referring, too. I don't know if this is who you are referring to but it could be. My John Boone was born abt 1795 in Adams County, Ohio. He is the son of Joseph Boone Jr. and Mary DeHart. The 3 of the children of Joseph Boone and Elizabeth Warren were Jacob, Ovid and Thomas, Boone were known to travel with their cousin Daniel Boone on his trips to Kentucky. Jacob moved to Limestone now Maysville, Mason County, Ky in 1786. with his brothers, Ovid and Thomas and Daniel Boone. Jacob Boone settled in Limestone now Maysville, Kentucky. He owned a tavern and operated a ferry to cross the Ohio River. Jacob had a son John Boone and a sister Nancy Boone born 14 Sept 1775. Nancy married John Mitchell born 1761 and he died 4 Dec 1830 burial Pioneer Cemetery in Maysville located behind the Historical Library on Sutton Street. Nancy Boone was born 14 Sept 1775 and died 30 June 1821 in Maysville, Mason County, Ky.
