I just found the marriage record for James Torr and Nancy Boon Feb 6th, 1841, I had always heard that James Torr married Sarah Boone, does anyone know anything? I also found the marriage record for Wilford Torr (son of James Torr and Sarah ? Boone) who married Melissa I. This is a truly odd but real question that I was just asked by my brother who is living in South Carolina. It has nothing specific to our geneology aside from the fact that we are Daniel and Rebecca Boones 5th greats. "Somewhere", he heard that direct descendents of Daniel Boone get some sort of discount when visiting Boone, SC. I've never heard of any such discount but thought maybe, just maybe, if it is true that one of you will have heard about it. I would appreciate any answers.
