They have pilfered much of their materials from GenWeb and then=20 charged for it. Can anyone tell me who the children are for Soloman Osborn who married Hannah Boone Stewart's daughter Mary (later Pennington)? Also is this Soloman the brother of John Osborn who married Sarah Stewart, the other daughter of Hannah Boone? There is a family connection and I am trying to find out the parents names for my GGG-grandmother Emma Jane Osborn Harrison (wife of William Brice Harrison) and also for Mahala Osborn who married William Harrison's brother James Brice Harrison in Vermilion,IL. Interestingly my GGGGG-grandmother was Rachel BOONE BRICE who was William Brice Harrison's grandmother. Also have no parents for Rachel either. I am sure that the OSBORN & BOONE families are the key but how and who? Johanna Osborn Brody, who was Hannah Boone Stewart's G-granddaughter had a son William who married Mahala Harrison, the granddaughter of James Brice Harrison & Mahala Osborn. The Daniel Boone had brother Jonathan(spelling may be different). I believe he had daughter he named Hanna after his sister. Area of Warren Co, KY. Want to trace with birth records, marriage lic, other documents. Others have given me some information but I want to complete the records. Help? Thanks
Hello, I am still seeking info on the families listed below. Any ideas, anything will be greatly appreciated. Especially interested in Ruffin Brown and Millie Brown. Richmond Pearson Boone b in Barren co KY 1803, said to have been a son of John Boon, who in turn was the son of Jonathan Boon, an older brother of Daniel Boone , frontiersman. Richmond married in KY, perhaps Edmundson co by 1825. A researcher , Dan Boone of Pleasanton, TX said his first wife was Jane Riley. The first I found on Richmond was in 1838 St. Francis co AR tax list. He went bythe spelling Boon on that list and the 1840 St Francis co census, but on the 1850 , same county census, he had added an E. Dan Boone said he married a Millie Brown in the mid 1840's in St Francis co. Millie being born in NC ca 1806. I have searched the census for 1840 St Francis co and I found only one Brown, Ruffin 30-40 yrs of age with three children (all males), no wife. Perhaps Ruffin was a brother to Millie. In 1851 the Boones went to Bell county TX, listed on that census in 1860, Williamson co TX census 1870 and Kendall co TX census for 1880. William Carroll Boone son of Richmond married Caroline Brown. Artemissa Glover, granddaughter of Richmond married Richard K. Brown. Mary Belle Boone, granddaughter of Richmond married .....Brown, lived at Floresville , Wilson co TX. I know that Richard K. and Caroline Brown were brother and sister. Was the unknown Brown another brother? Also, was there a connection from them to Millie Brown? Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pat in OK [email protected]
Nancy, I'm still looking too. Nothing yet. Marie

Still looking for the parents of William Henry Boon, who was b. in New York in 1834 and whose father was (he said) from MA and his mother either from VT or CT. The father may have been a Baptist preacher. Based upon the name of William Henry's oldest son, the father may have been named John. Or maybe not. Charnee in CA
