To all members of the Boone family and friends: This has been a terrible week for all of us. To those of you who have been personally faced with concern for or loss of loved ones, our sympathy and support goes out to you. We have been pleased with support from around the world. The Boones have stood firm for the United States all though its great history and stand shoulder to shoulder to face the foe today. Your cousin and friend, Ivan of Trafalgar
In Honor of those who lost their lives on 11 Sep 2001 I propose that we all wear a red/white/blue ribbon. Just like the many people wear the red ribbons, the pink ribbons, etc, for all the different memories...... So just buy a roll of red/white/blue ribbon and pass them out. Aloha! Floyd's Northumberland County Genealogy Pages 123 thru 148. http://searches.rootsweb.com/usgenweb/archives/pa/northumberland/bios2/f1231 48.txt Starting on page 127 is a nice amount of Boone information. Looks like through the descendants of George Boone 4th. Many other surnames mentioned that tie into the Boone line. Mahalo! S. Looking for information on John Boone, son of Jonathan Boone (Daniel's brother)? I am from Jacob Boone (b1805) line in WV. Several places indicate that Jacob Boone's father was John Boone (Jonathan's son). Jacob's mother is Catherine Coger (b1792) daughter of Peter Coger. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Jacob Boone had several children. One being Daniel Boone (b1846) who married Margaret Gainer. This Daniel Boone is my gg Grandfather.
Would you happen to have a Squire, or Edward Squire, Boone in your John's family who would have been born c 1730 or before? I've been looking for this man who was the father of Mary/Polly Boone, b.c1750, for years. It is family tradition that this Edward Squire married an Indian woman, and that he was related to THE Daniel Boone. Mary/Polly married John Couch and I descend from two of their daughters. Any help appreciated. Thank you. Joyce House-Reeves
John Boon,Boone cousin to Daniel, some say, lived with Daniel's family, he says in Rev. War qualification statement, he went to Ky. with Daniel, after serving in the Rev. War settled in Greenbrier County Virginia, now Monroe County, West Virginia, son John & Wife Nancy, and other members of his family later moved to Braxton County, WV where they died and are buried. I still live 4 generations later on the Boone property. If we can ever be of help to our world wide cousins, please feel free to contact us.

I am looking for help to support or refute the claimed relationship of Sarah Boone Adams Lamberson to Benjamin Boone (II), Jr. (as his daughter). Benjamin Boone (II), Jr. b. 13 Aug. 1741 - Son of Benjamin Boone (I) and Susanna Lykins Married to Eve Lofter Family resided in Berks or Northumberland County, PA. Was Sarah Boone (2 JUN 1772) was the daughter of Benjamin Boone (II), Jr. and Eve Lofter? Is there strong evidence in support of this? There is one theory circulating that states that Sarah Boone was actually the widow of one of Benjamin Boone (II), Jr.'s sons (and not a daughter of Benjamin Boone (II), Jr. ). The theory goes that Sarah was named in Benjamin Boone (II), Jr.'s will because she was collecting her late Boone husband's share of Benjamin Boone (II), Jr.'s estate. I have never seen Benjamin Boone (II) Jr.'s will or probate papers. I understand that Sarah Boone Adams Lamberson is named in those papers. However, she is not named as a daughter. Any information shared or comments on the above would certainly be appreciated. Thank you. Nick Mizaur

A list of Early Settlers and Landowners in Harpswell, Cumberland, Maine as recorded in Wheelers' History of Brunswick, Topsham and Harpswell has a Samuel BOONE in Harpswell Neck 1720. Does anyone have any information about him? Is he related to or the same as the Samuel BOONE who was in Kingston RI. Libby, Noyes and Davis' Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire has a Samuel BOONE, Kingston, RI & No. Yarmouth 1720-1733, but no further information and no family given. Me again.. sounds like we are going to have a few more and afew new family members at the Nathan Boone Rendezvous this year... in beautiful Ashgrove Missouri. Here is a link for some details http://home.mmcable.com/lwo/nbr/ I have been asked where to stay, etc.. There really isn't a hotel in Ashgrove, perhaps a small motor in. But it's only 20 minutes away from the hotel district in Springfield, MO. ..... We are staying at the Marriott Courtyard Airport..... (it's probably the closest) Otherwise I would suggest a hotel on North Gladstone...near the I-44 interchange (From memory they have, guesthouse, drury, red roof, holiday inn, comfort inn, holiday inn,,, you name it....all within about 5 mi.) Here is a link to the tourism site to find a hotel.. http://www.springfieldmo.org/ Hope to see u there.
