He was born either in Mississippi or Alabama June 23, 1883. Carrie's sister, Eliza (Liza) Bonner, married Henry Lattimore Skinner, brother of Lewis, as a second husband. Henry's first wife was Lotti Henrietta Bonner, also a sister of Carrie. Lewis died likely in Choctaw County September 13, 1944. Cleo died prior to Lewis in Choctaw County on died May 31, 1935. She was a daughter of Alexander Jackson and Matilda Bonner. Matilda was a great grandmother of Dan. Idell, wife of Dan, is second cousin once removed of Matilda Bonner. Dan's Father, Evan Whittington, was a brother of Ausbry Lee Whittington who married Nora Davidson. Nora was a daughter of R. S. (Pat) Davidson and Mary Jane Jackson.
