Grandfather was JOHN WILLIAM FLETCHER EMMETT DELAFAYETTE BONNER. He was born February 11, 1823 in Forsythe, Monroe, GA, and died September 29, 1896 in Hickory Flat, Chambers, AL. He married MARGERY ANNE STEWART December 18, 1857 in Heard Co. GA, daughter of WILLIAM STEWART and MOURNING MULLINS. She was born May 19, 1837, and died August 08, 1912 in Standing Rock, Chambers, AL Methodist Church. There may also be a connection here: My Grandmother's sister married a Shackleford. TOMMIE LESTER SHACKLEFORD was born November 11, 1896 in Carrollton, Carroll, GA, and died December 20, 1981 in Dalton, GA. He married LENA VIRGINIA LYLE August 03, 1919, daughter of ENOCH LYLE and SARA POWLEDGE. She was born April 21, 1901 in Carrollton, Carroll, GA, and died April 16, 1986 in Dalton, GA.
