Hi Folks, I have seen several questions regarding DNA projects, and I think a lot of them can be boiled down to the following: Let's say two people get tested, and their results are like this: Person #1: 13 24 14 11 11 14 12 12 12 13 13 29 Person #2: 13 25 14 11 11 15 12 12 13 13 13 29 Those results look pretty similar, yes? So what is the most likely relationship of person #1 to person #2? Identical twins? Brothers? 2nd Cousins? 15th cousins? I have included an analysis of this type of scenario for the BONNER DNA project as a whole thus far, and included it as a section called "How to read the data table and network diagram". I am sure the section is not perfect. Please e-mail me with any additional questions or comments for improvement. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~gbonner/bonnerdna And as always, please help me recruit male BONNERs for the project :) Cheers, Gregg Bonner BONNER-L ListAdmin BONNER Surname DNA Project Group Administator
