I am seeking info on Bonners that are part of my family.My Mother was a Bonner; born in Rankin County in Mississippi. Her Father was Robert Carl Bonner; married to my Grandmother, Martha Alice (Mattie) Wilson.They were married in 1900 in Rankin County. His Father was either F.J. or R.J. Bonner.Mother was Laura Lawson. Great Grandfather (R.J.Bonner was a Physican). He was in 6th Inf. in Civil War and was Asst. Surgeon.They had another son, Lucius Lawson Bonner who married, lived and died in Meridan.Ms. This family had a congenital heart problem and most died young, as did my grandfather who died at 39 in 1909. My Mother was Elba Louise Bonner, 1 brother, Wilson Guy Bonner. I have run into a brick wall and can find nothing else on this set of Bonners. My Grandfather, Robert Carl Bonner, was a city policeman in Jackson, Ms. Any info anyone has would be a great help to me as I can find nothing else on this set of Bonners. My Grandparents and Great Grandparents are buried in Richland Cemetery in Richland, Ms.(which was known as Plain, Ms. at one time.) Thanks for any help any one can give me. Doris Byrd
