Hi Folks, This is just a quick note to describe a recent DNA result that came in. The DNA donor claims (or has claimed on his behalf) descent from Alexander V. Bonner of Illinois. This appears to be identical to Alexander Vaughn Bonner, son of Henry Bonner and Mary Vaughn. There is some question about the father of this Henry. Some people show Henry's father as the Henry Bonner (1724-1822) who married Anne "Nancy Cate". This elder Henry Bonner was son of John Bonner. However, others show this later Henry Bonner to be son of Joseph Bonner, who most likely is also somehow a descendant of the above mentioned John Bonner. In any case, the DNA matches the DNA of the BONNERs of Prince George County, Virginia and Albemarle Parish of Virginia. If anyone can help prove any if this/these lineages, then please let me know.
