He is listed in the 1810 federal census for Ashe County, North Carolina. He is over 45 years of age, as is his wife Anne. He has three daughters living with him, including one under 10, one from 10-16, and one from 16-26. He received a land patent from the federal government on February 4, 1801. Previously, he lived in Maryland. I cannot locate this family in 1820. If you know wnything about this family, I would be grateful if you would contact me.
