Dear List, Unfortunately, a probable malware-promoting link has made it to the list. I have informed the powers that be at RootsWeb of the need to expunge the message from the archives, so that the troublesome link contained within, and the one in the "From:" field will not be preserved. I have also put the offending party on 'moderate' so that it won't happen again. However, this will not remove the email from the Bonner list memberships' folks' email boxes. Please understand that this issue is ALREADY being addressed at the list admin level and the RootsWeb level. We are doing all that can be done. All you can do (to help) is to delete the message without opening it. Or if you have already opened it, then please delete it without clicking the links. The worst thing you could do (besides clicking the links) would be to reply to this list about it. That would only add to the list "pollution", and would also make another copy of the bad links for people to mistakenly click. DO NOT REPLY TO THE LIST (or anyone else) ABOUT THE MESSAGE THAT GOT THROUGH! This should be the ONLY message that goes out to the Bonner list concerning the prior message. ROOTSWEB STAFF: Please expunge this message also from the archives once the other message has been removed. For reference purposes, I have included the offending email below, in post-script. But I have altered the URLs displayed so that they should no longer be infectious. Sorry for the trouble. Please help by just deleting the message from your inbox, and doing nothing else.
