Information on James L. Boner, b abt 1852, Ohio and married Sarah E. Cox on September 11, 1873. I'm looking for any information on James' ancestors. Also, only have information for one child, Harriet Etta Boner, born in 1877, Preble County. If you have any information to share regarding James L. Boner's ancestors, I would appreciate your assistance. Thank you, in advance. Teresa Parks [email protected]
Thank you but we are not related. Hope you find the indicated family. William J. Bonner
I've "rescued" an old photograph of John R. MILLER or Petersboro, NH which was taken at the Taylor Studio in Rochester, New York. The photograph is dated 29 Mar 1884 with John appearing to be in his 40's or 50's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate information regarding John and his family as follows: John Randolph MILLER was b. 6 Nov 2828 in Peterborough, NH to parents Jesse MILLER (b. 6 Jul 1791 in Peterborough, NH) and Asenath BONNER (b. 28 May 1796 in Hancock, NH). The couple was married about 1827 and had two children, John Randolph; and Charles Adams MILLER both born in Peterborough, NH. Census records provide the following information: 1860 census of Peterborough, NH: John R. MILLER, age 32, a Druggist, born NH Ellen A. MILLER, age 22, born NH Edward E. MILLER, age 7, born NH Albert S. PERDER, age 29, a Harness Maker, born NH 1870 census of Peterborough, NH: John R. MILLER, age 41, a Post Master, born NH Ellen A. Have you received contact yet from George Glenn Bonner III ??? That would be my uncle, who is presumably descended directly from Henry's line, through Thomas Bonner. I believe he told me he was on this mailing list a few years ago, but after reading your recent email, I wonder if he has had any contact with you after all. He lives in Manteo, NC His father (George Glenn Bonner, Jr.) was from the Aurora area, and moved to Manteo when he married my grandmother, Doris Jones. eorge III and his son, George IV are both now living, and I believe would be perfect candidates for your testing... Please let me know if you have never received contact from either of them, and I will make sure they become aware of your project. I know that my aunt and uncle have done extensive research, and can't imagine that they would not have run across you on the internet yet.... I am trying to find JONES BONNER In a message dated 5/12/2010 3:16:23 A.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: Hi Folks, My apologies for not having already updated the BONNER Surname DNA Project webpages, but I've been busy playing dodgetornado. But I thought I'd pass this along before I forget: A new sample has come in from a man claiming descent from Whitmel Bonner, son of Thomas of subject. We already had a sample from a man claiming descent from Whitmel's brother, Jordan. Thankfully they match. So this rather cements the DNA type of Thomas Bonner (1744-1804) as BONNER DNA type Node "C". This is the group most likely descended from the ancient Bonner family of Henry Bonner of Chowan, NC. There are now 7 Bonner men who have tested and who are Node "C", plus one MARTIN who appears to be "a genetic Bonner" of this DNA type. Unfortunately, few of these Node "C" folks can trace their line back explicitly to Henry of Chowan himself, but whose implied descent probability I would say is very high. This new sample proves the type back to 1744, which gets us closer to Henry himself in the explicit sense. Otherwise the compiled descent interpretation depends on what you believe is true about the nature of the various Bonner descents along these lines prior to the 1680s (e.g. must Henry, b. 1680, m. WHEDBEE and William, b. 1683, m. LILES be brothers? Etc.). I hope to have the webpages updated soon. Is this Jones Bonner living? If not, then maybe the people on this list could help you better if you'd give some clue as to the dates associated with him...and perhaps a location wouldn't hurt either. The only Jones Bonner I know lived in Prince George County, Virginia in the late 1700s. Gregg --- On Wed, 5/12/10, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > I am trying to find JONES BONNER

Hi Folks, Because I am not always able to update the Bonner Surname DNA Project webpage(s) as soon as new data is available, I have enabled the FTDNA in-house data display. This ensures that at least the measurements themselves are available to the public as soon as they exist for all samples. That page is here: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/bonner/default.aspx?section=yresults The main page continues to be here: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gbonner/bonnerdna/ I need to establish cross-links, fill in some of the FTDNA data table columns, and some other things, but at least now there won't be any missing Y-chromosome values while I am trying to find time to update. Happy New Year! Gregg Bonner BONNER Surname DNA Project Group Administrator

I am looking for the marriage date (and any other information) of Elijah BONNER, born about 1828, and his wife Julia. They were most likely married in Baltimore. Elijah lived with his aunt Elizabeth GEORGE for many years and I am trying to find the name of his mother, apparently a sister of Elizabeth. I do not know their family's maiden name as GEORGE is Elizabeth's married surname. Thanks. -- Aaron _________________________________________________________________ Get free photo software from Windows Live http://www.windowslive.com/online/photos?ocid=PID23393::T:WLMTAGL:ON:WL:en-US:SI_PH_software:082009
