He couldn't be the Daniel who was the son of John Bonnell and Mary Ann Mills, because that Daniel was born about 1776 and would have been only 12 when he was hanged. He was more than likely related to the Georgia Bonnells of the time, since he was hanged in Georgia. And I'm pretty sure now it wasn't Daniel White Bonnell, either. It's a mystery to me!
