Anning Digby is son of Wm. Franklin Bonnell Jr., GS of WFB Sr., and G-GS of Isaac Bonnell of New Jersey and Digby, N.S. Isaac is my GGG-GF and a brick wall; I've never found his parents. He was a friend of William Franklin, I descend through WFB Sr.'s daughter Mary Ann Sophia, who became the second wife of Timothy Robert Wetmore. She was Anning's aunt. BTW, the St. John references are to St. John, New Brunswick, not Newfoundland.
