It has a lot of info that I am looking for. I need to go through it but it will fill in a lot of gaps. I knew that various people use the spelling "Bunnell" but I have not run across any in out direct lines. I need to look and see where that split happened and this site is a great resource. (I am familiar with the problem as my husband also has Coburn/Colburn/Colburne lines that are all over the place). I did not know about his first wife or the child they had, so I will definitely hunt that down...I knew about his sister Gertrude's marriages and knew there were kids. I was hoping his medals survived - he won the Croix de Guerre (with a Palme) and the Medaille Militaire for his service to France in WWI. Whomever in the family has those medals, they might like a copy of his service record to go with it. Sincere thanks...I will have fun exploring this lead!
