Diane, I think we are related through those BONDs of yours in OH & MO...My Alyne(Allen) BOND, which is the earliest I can document, was born approx. 1800 in NY....but I have traced that line to CT Ohio, then Montana, then Colorado, then California and WA. I think they all went West in this pattern because of the various homestead acts for land in those states. Thomas, William, Edward, Julia, Emma, Hattie, Mary, Sarah, George are common through my generations of BOND...which drives me crazy because they are so common....but are not found in those KY BONDS as much...or the VA ones as much...which helps to aid in searching.
