Hi Angie and James, Yes for sure I met you and James at the Bond Reunion last year and have a wonderful picture of you two to prove it. I have since managed to loose your address and to the best of my knowledge I promised to send James a copy of an article which was published in the Virginia Cavalcade in the spring of 1994. This article was about the home of William Wellington Bond II which was built in 1843 in about seven miles northwest of the Wise County VA courthouse. This was witten in 1937 and the info for the article came from William's youngest son Elbert Jerome. So you are safe in calling him William Wellington the II. Does any of this ring a bell?? Give me your address and I'll send you a copy of it if you are still interested. I also have a copy of "The Bonds and their name" which I've had for some time but like a man in a hurry I overlooked the "Wellington" surname in it. Thanks for finding this and keep all of us posted on any progress you make. As I've said before I'm pretty well tied up with illness in my family and don't really have time to dabble with the INET right now but maybe things will improve soon. I'm at least thinking ahead and have reserved a shelter at Natural Tunnel State Park for our reunion which will be Sunday May 30. So any of y'll out there in Bond land who are interested please let me know. Oh by the way, you did meet Mary Lou and she is really the sweetest one and is really after this Bond stuff. I'm truly amazed with the amount of traffic on this Bond list and have just put all my other lists on hold. Its really great to see all the interest from so very many people. Thanks to everyone out there for sharing your info with me and maybe someday I can add to the pot. Best regards to all, Paul
