William Mitchell was born in Cusseta, Georgia on 13 July 1858. He married Leah Ann McGlaun on 1 December 1880. They later moved to Texas and settled around the town of Hamlin. His father was believed to be William Michell Davison Bond; who was thought to be the sone of Whitfield Wilson Bond and Eleanor Jones [Payne] Hughes I would be interested in any information pertaining to this branch of the Bond family.
