All born in England Joseph Bond b 8-6-1704 m Martha Rogers both came to the USA together and were married here. Children: Edward, Benjamin, Ruth, Ann, Samuel, John, Stephen Stephen Bond b abt 1750 in Guliford Co, NC m Maiden_______ Children: Ruth, Martha, Mary, Patience, Charity, Stephen Jr, Keziah, Rebecca, Isaac, Ann, Rachel, Joseph, Nathan, Benjamin. Isaac Bond b11-27-1790 m(2-15-1815) Nancy Goad Children Mary, William, James, John, Anderson. I feel there are other children here too- Lucinda, Sarah, Polly. Here is the problem area. Other Bond researchers say that William Bond married his couisin Mary Bond and Asa was their child . They were married in Grayson Co on 8-12-1841. Asa was born in Floyd Co on 10-7-1841. 2 months later. William died in 1849. Asa is listed in census records of 1850 as livin with Isaac and Nancy. This all seems possible except Asa lists his parent on all his married records as Lucinda or Lucy. I wonder if Asa was the illegimate son of the Lucinda?? Any help here would be appreciated!!!!
