AND HIS DESCENDANTS FROM 1733, by Catherine Sams Bond Gheesling, 1975. It is a verrry well-documented history of the Bond Family that settled in Franklin & Hall Co. GA and came originally from Virginia. A copy of this genealogy is also located in the GA. Dept. of Archives and History in Atlanta, GA. However, I find no reference to the Joseph M. Bond and Mary Ann Dodd that you mention. Neither do I find the siblings of Joseph that you mention or the Robert Bond you mention. There is a Joseph Ballenger Bond who was a Rev. War Soldier from Maryland and lived and died in Hall Co., GA. He is mentioned prominently in the book. I also have Ballengers in my family, but he is not my direct ancestor. I descend from a Richard Cox Bond and a Nathan Bond who are mentioned in this book (these 2 men were both also in the Rev. War). If you have more names for me to check relating to the Bond Family in GA & SC I'd be glad to check. Sincerely, Glenn Gohr (Bond List Manager) ggohr01@mail.orion.org
