Thomas Bond, b. 1597, Bury St. Edmonds, Suffolk County, England; d. abt. 1659 in Canterbury or London, England; m. Elizabeth Woods. John Bond, b. 5 Feb 1624, lived in Newbury, Rowley and Haverhill, MA; d. 3 Dec 1674 in Haverhill Essex County, MA; m. Hester Blakeley. John was one of the grantees of Newbury. Their children: John, Thomas, Joseph, Hester, Mary, Abigail. Abigail Bond, b. 6 Nov 1660; d. ab1724 in Haverhill, Essex County, MA, m. Ezra Rolfe. Their children: Abigail, Daniel, Ezra, Martha and Mary (twins). The area in Haverhill where Ezra and Abigail lived is now Plaistow, NH. While living in Haverhill Ezra was wounded and taken prisoner by the Indians and died three days later. His daughter, Martha, was also severely injured but recovered completely.
