I am unable to make a conncection with the recent inquiry concerning Banister BOND. However, I am always curious if there is the possibility of a collateral line. I am unable to get farther back than Robert Bonds, born about 1795 in North Carolina. He served in the War of 1812 and died in Wilson County, Tennessee. His first wife was Polly Benthall (Benton?) and they had eight children, Daniel B., William (Billly), Thomas, Robert Jr., Herbert W., Martha, John, and Alfred. His second wife was Frances Cawthon with whom he had four daughters, Nancy, Malissa, Mary, and Elzura. If anyone wants more information, I would be happy to supply it.
