Bond researchers, Glenn Gohr has posted this for me in the past, but I did not receive any responses. I am searching for the parents of the following HENRY BOND and I would very much like to hear from ANYONE who might connect with my HENRY BOND, born 4 April 1782 in Maryland, died 8 July 1855 in Polk County, Missouri. Henry married CHARLOTTE (Lee?), born 6 December 1791 in North Carolina, d 30 June 1857, Polk County, Missouri. Henry and Charlotte had three children, all born in Blount County, Tennessee: Elizabeth, 1809-1891 (married 12 Jan 1825, Blount Co. TN to Joseph Tuck); Anne, 1812-1889 (married 4 Dec 1828, Blount Co. TN to William Tuck) and Benjamin 1814-1836 (married abt 1833, Blount Co., TN to Martha McClure). Henry also had a brother, Benjamin Bond, b 15 April 1795, d 1841 (married Roseanah Mitchell) Henry, Charlotte, their married children, grandchildren, as well as Henry's brother Benjamin and family, moved to Polk County MO in 1837. They made the move with other families living in the Blount County TN area: Tuck, Lusk, McGuire, Mitchell and Montgomery. Please note that the above HENRY BOND has been placed with another wife and I know he married Charlotte - I have photos of their tombstones and I have copy of Henry Bond's estate papers and his wife is mentioned in them. I have located Henry, Charlotte and their son Benjamin in the Blount Co. TN Census - their daughters were both married by then. There is another Henry Bond in the 1830 TN census, in McMinn County, but the ages and number of people in household does not match this family. I am most interested in finding the parents of the above Henry and Benjamin Bond. Any help, assistance or leads would be most appreciated. Thank you, Donna Bond
