No one has ever provided any connection between William of Watertown, John of Newbury and Thomas of Virginia. Noone has ever proved a link between Jonas and John of Newbury. The author of Colonial Families .. was trying to flatter my grandmother when he used the three brothers and royalty ties. His was salesmanship and conjecture, not research.
