    3. Valerie, Regarding Lucinda Bond. I have Bonds in GA & MS & also have corresponded with Tex Dick. He has included my line of descent on his page & took much of his Sartain-Bond information from records I posted to the Sartin List on Rootsweb. Much of the information on the early Bond families comes from a book called: Notes on Charles Bond, Sr. And His Descendants From 1733, by Catherine Sams Bond Gheesling, 1975. This book contains a wealth of information and source documentation on the BOND family which came from Goochland County, VA and settled in Elbert, Franklin, Madison, and other counties in Georgia. It lists: p. 23 Lucinda Bond, under age 14 in 1822, shown as daughter of Allen Woodard Bond an his first wife. He was b. between 1760 and 1770 according to census records & married first to Sally Murry on Feb. 18, 1798 in Fluvanna Co., VA. Allen married 2nd to Martha Wilson on Feb. 24, 1826 in Shelby Co., TN Allen Woodard Bond was in Madison Co., AL by 1816 & in Shelby Co., TN in about 1822 after his first wife died. He died by May 1837 in Shelby Co., TN. Other named siblings of this Lucinda are: Harriett Bond, William Bond, Norman Bond, Robert Bond, Tallassee Green Bond, Silvester Bond, John M. Bond, Mosella Bond, Sara Ann Bond, Joseph Bond, Elizabeth Bond p. 39 Mrs. Lucinda Bond, found in the 1860 Carroll Co., GA census who had in her household a child named Harrison Bond, b. ca. 1850. This Lucinda seems to be related to Lindsey Bond, b. 1801 in GA who married Susanna Sartain in Madison Co., GA. Here connection to the other Bonds is not definitely known. p. 79 Lucinda (F.?) Bond, listed as daughter of Francis King Bond. He was b. on Dec. 22, 1827 and married in Elbert Co., GA to Susan H. Black on Dec. 14, 1845. He is buried in Banks Co., GA. Lucinda was born ca. 1849 and may be the Lucinda F. Bond who married Marion A. Daniel on Nov. 27, 1866. This Lucinda, daughter of Francis King Bond, had these siblings: John Willis Bond, Jamres R. Easton Bond, Elizabeth M. Bond, and Francis H. Bond. Hope this helps. Glenn Gohr ggohr01@mail.orion.org
