Hi Valerie, How nice to hear from you! The "fact" that Lucinda Bond and Frances Bond were sisters comes from family information only. My grandmother told me about her and a Mayfield family cousin of mine also told me about her and gave me her birth information. He had gotten it from a descendant of Lucinda that lived in north east Louisiana but when I tried to contact her she had moved. I will have to search through stuff and see if I can still find her name. My Mayfield cousin was named Stephen Mayfield and he moved without letting me know and I have lost contact with him too. All of this was done some 6 or more years ago. My husband and I have both been in poor health and I did not do any family research for years until I recently got a computer. I used to go to the LDS Family History Center often but we have not been able to get there for many years. I knew approximately when and where Lucinda had died but I found the exact date on the web site of Tex Dick in Georgia. Contact him. His URL is <http://w3.atlcon.net/~texdick/> I contacted him and I do not think he believed me when I told him about Frances -- no real proof -- but you & he are both descended from Lucinda and he will probably be thrilled to hear from you and his web site might have some data you did not know. Back when I was more active in family research I had decided that a Robert Bond and his wife, Agnes from Abbeville County, South Carolina that came to Franklin County, Georgia were a possibilty to try to trace. I thought there was a strong possibility they were Frances' parents. Thanks for writing and yes, we will have to stay in touch, and try to work together on this. Sharing always makes family research a lot easier. Warmest regards, Charlotte Schick
