Gerald, Thanks for the Bond information you sent on 10-10-98 where you listed your grandfather; William Walker Bond, etc. I am a desc. of William W. Bond and Margaret Davis through their son, Charles Franklin Bond born Sept. 11, 1794 in Rockbridge County, Virginia and Rebecca Bevins. You probably have all of this but George Bond born Aug 7, 1798 and Lucy Powers born 1810 married Feb 25, 1830 in Scott County, Virginia. Their children were: 1. Oliver Patton born 1837 married Hannah E. Broadwater in 1865. 2. Henry H. Bond married Cosby Fuller on Jan 28, 1873. 3.James Bond born 1833 married Mary Catherine _________. 4. William Henderson Bond born 1835 married Mary Elizabeth Newberry (thanks for this information. I did not have it.) 5. Abner Bond born 1837 6. Polly Bond born 1839 7. George Washington Bond 1841 8. Nancy Bond born 1844 married F. M. Powers on Feb 26, 1866. Nice to find a new Bond cousins. It you can fill in any of the blanks, I would be most grateful.
